New Video: Britney Spears' "Work B**ch"!

Honestly, I don't think any of us were ready for this. Godney Spears has released the video for her current single, off her untitled 8th album due out in December, "Work B**ch"! After yelling "BEN MOOOOR!" for weeks, the visual finally premiered last night and did NOT disappoint. Let's work it out:

• Desertney - Britney returns to the desert after her big GMA announcement a few weeks back. We get a little Poseney, Perfumeney, and the long awaited...DANCENEY! DO YOU SEE THOSE BICYCLE KICKS? THE FLOOROGRAPHY?! THAT BOD-AY?! YES BRITNEY YES.
• Clubney - theres a club sequence looking locale where Miss Spears cracks out some choreo, but also her legendary armography. It wouldn't be a Britney video without some fierce arm movements. THOSE SHOULDER POPS TOO. YASSS.
• S&Mney - obviously a nod to her duet with Riri, Britney brings on some S&M visuals here. Whether she's got her horse crop (obvi a reference to the "Radar" video) or gagging you with a Beats Pill, Britney means business. I mean she whipped a girl and she flew 5 feet backwards. NOW GET TO WORK, BITCH.
• Oasisney - Britney then takes time to relax near a big white wall. Here, she seductively slides down walls, drops it low, and even takes time to whip  a dancer so she can get to work (slave driverney???). Theres also a second piece where Britney stands in the sand whipping her hair in a door opening and it's everything.
• Aquaney: Britney decided to up the ante by standing in the middle of a pool on a pedestal in a dress. Now you may think, why is this a big deal? UH BECAUSE SHE IS SURROUNDED BY SHARKS. WAT. REFERENCE TO HER LIFE??? REFERENCE TO VEGAS (CARD SHARKS)?? WHO KNOWS. All I know is that she is obviously training to be a water bender and looks absolutely fierce doing it.

Overall, this video is flawless and well worth the wait. Bow down.

New Music: "We Remain" and "Elastic Heart" from the Catching Fire Soundtrack!

If you haven't heard, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire's soundtrack is boasting some big names. Today we have the cuts from Christina Aguilera and Sia feat. The Weeknd and Diplo!

Obviously, I was super exciting hearing Legendtina was going to be on this album. My fellow Ecuadorian sister brings on the emotions in this ballad. "We Remain" really showcases the Christina vocals we all know and love. The chorus is absolutely beautiful. "Whatever happens here/Whatever happens here/ WE REMAIIIIIN!" SIMPLE, BUT EFFECTIVE. Perfect for the feel of this movie.

And then there is Sia's "Elastic Heart". Totally different from "We Remain". It's a total jam (of course, its a Sia song.. It's this crazy sound of weird noises and this amazing beat. Ugh so good. Sia and The Weeknd's vocals are just spot on for this. Loving.

New Music: Katy Perry's "Walking On Air"!

Katy Perry has released the third promo single from her upcoming album, Prism! It's called "Walking On Air"! The song has a very 90's pop feel. It's nothing ground breaking since artists like Bright Lights Bright Lights has been doing this for a while now. This is my least favorite, but I don't hate it! Probably because its so different from the others. It's missing the quirkiness of "Dark Horse" and the invigorating feel of "Roar". But it's got that good dancing at a bar feeling going for it. I don't know about all these various genres happening.

Charli XCX has just released a new single entitled "SuperLove"! The single is missing the dark pop feel, but has a super fun disco-pop dance beat. I. AM. OBSESSED. The chorus is super catchy and that beat. Ugh. Dancing the night away.

The video is so cute and fun to match. It looks as though Charli is running around Japan in some psychedelic colored venues and having too much fun with some gal pals and...robots?? TOO TURNT. I'm so glad she is releasing new music and can't wait to see her in November.

New Music: Justin Timberlake's "TKO"!

Justin Timberlake has a new single! It will be the second one of his upcoming album The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 and is called "TKO". The production sounds SUPER Timbaland-y and reminiscent of FS/LS.  Am I fan of it? Not really. It's okay and basically sounds like what you would expect it to. The whole 7 minute length is still a little off putting to me.

As I sit here watching a football game, the Holy Spearit decided to intervene my bro time and come out with the radio premiere of her new single "WORK BITCH"! If you weren't up at 7 AM (aka me) it leaked. So what's a pop queen to do? Obviously move up the premiere of her single 24 hours early. And it'll be on iTunes tonight. (Doesn't this sound like a POP EMERGENCY??? I'm just saying: Queens thinks alike.) BLESS.

At first, I wasn't about this single too much. I called it going to be "Scream and Shout"-esque since its produced by them same people behind that. But this song turns out to be a dance smash! And even an empowering anthem of 2013. You want a hawt bowdy? A Boo-gah-ti? Sippin MAHTINIS? YOU BETTER WORK BITCH. Britney isn't playing around. You know you'll put this on your gym playlist or stomp around running errands to it. Into this.

Hot off his smash "Clarity", Zedd is re-releasing his album, also titled Clarity, September 24th! The next single is called "Stay The Night" and features the vocals of Hayley from Paramore! The song is undeniably a smash. Hayley's vocals sound amazing and the beats behind it..ugh. The man does no wrong. This also makes me excited to see what Zedd is doing for ARTPOP. Iggy Azalea debuted her video for "Change Your Life"! The video looked like a big production and it looks great. Iggy goes from showgirl to con in the clip and looks absolutely stunning doing it (I mean, #FASHIONTITS or whatever she wanted to trend). I think this song could be a big one. I am all about it. Not gonna lie, the video makes me want to roll around a bed with a baby tiger too. Hella pressed. Somebody needs to change my life ASAP.

Yesterday, Miley released the video for her AMAZING single "Wrecking Ball"! The video was shot by Terry Richardson and is gorgeous. I mean, apart from the licking of the sledgehammer. That I could have done without, but the rest was perfection. Miley literally bared all on in this video whilst swinging from a wrecking ball. I need to get me one and do this in the near future. I love seeing this strong yet vulnerable Miley.

A new Coldplay song entitled "Atlas" was released today! "Atlas" will be featured on the next Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire, due out in November. Having read all the books and being obsessed, this has the Catching Fire feel. It's haunting. Chilling. Is perfect for the dramatic stares in the previews. Too good.

Katy Perry released the video for her current #1 Billboard single "Roar"! I mean she dethroned "Blurred Lines" y'all. Anyways, congrats to her, but let's get to the video. Katy is survives a plane crash and she basically goes from distressed plane crashee to queen of the jungle. The video is a little bit ridiculous, but I think its somewhat charming and she looks ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. Still not a fan of the song and really not looking forward to Prism, but maybe she'll prove me wrong when it comes out???? Time will tell if this is truly a "Dark Horse".

Oh btw, she released the album cover for Prism. Yeah, I don't know about these flowers either. It's indie chic though? Reminds me of Nelly Furtado's Whoah, Nelly album art.

OMG YOU GUYS I CAN'T I'M DONE I CAN'T GO ON. BETWEEN THIS AND ARTPOP, I'M DONE DONE DONE.

Celine Dion has released the first track of her album Loved Me Back To Life due out November 5th. This song is the title track and was written none other than: QUEEN SIA FURLER. Like a Sia production, you get the dark and emotionally haunting feel. You guys, this is sooo good. That chorus. You'll be screaming it for hours. I adore this and can't wait to see what is next.

YO, IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, LADY GAGA PERFORMED AT THE ITUNES FESTIVAL AKA SWINEFEST AND IT WAS AMAZING.

Gaga opens with "Aura" and debuts new songs "MANiCURE", "ARTPOP" "Jewels and Drugs" (feat. T.I., Too Short, and Twista), "Sex Dreams", Swine", "I Wanna Be With You", and closed with "Applause". OHH THIS HAD ME TOO TURNT! They were all AMAZING (except I'm still not too keen on "J&D")!! "Swine" is my absolute favorite with "Sex Dreams" and "MANiCURE" right after. It was just a raw and powerful performance. November needs to be here. I'm so happy!!

Last night, Miley Cyrus debuted her new song "Wrecking Ball" along with the album covers for BANGERZ. The album covers are...cute? I mean I don't hate them. They're kinda fun. I'm more partial to the standard version (the top one).  And "Wrecking Ball" ....I love it! It's obviously a gritty ballad and a departure from the twerktastic "We Can't Stop". Miss Cyrus actually has some chops! That chorus is super catchy! And the sing song-y choppy lines make it perfect. Ugh about this life (REFERENCE).

I know, I'm really late to the party. BUT IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: CHER HAS FINALLY RELEASED THE "WOMAN'S WORLD" VIDEO!!!! The song is still a smash, but the video was kind of a let down. Don't get me wrong, Cher looks amazing and has some eclectic outfits and great wigs (you know you want that money/newspaper one). But I was expecting something different than just her and woman dancing against a blue backdrop. I don't know what I wanted, but I as kind of bummed. NO WORRIES THOUGH. I'm sure the album will be flawless and that is all that matters!

Gaga makes a comeback after her hip injury with some intense looking choreo (loved the seizure). I was NOT expecting this, but like it was EVERYTHING. She's currently on GMA and looks so adorable. A little while ago, the collab that we've all been waiting for finally leaked. A demo of Cher and Lady Gaga's "The Greatest Thing" has hit the interwebz! "TGT" was supposedly scrapped when Gaga wasn't happy with her vocals on it (OKAY,GURL. NO.) and all happiness was lost in my life the world. But shortly after "Applause" is released, the demo surfaces...GET THAT ARTPOP PROMO. Even though Cher took to twitter in a fury, it would have been a shame to never hear this! Maybe now Gaga will let her put it on? Is that even allowed? Let's hope.

The song itself is no different from the old Gaga demo except, you know, CHER IS SINGING IT. It's more of a dance ballad (like is that even a thing???). Gaga sounds fine and isn't even present for most of this version so I don't know what the hell her problem is. I love this and am getting all kinds of emotional.

New Music: Lady Gaga's "Applause"!!!!!!!!!!

So over the weekend Lady Gaga's highly anticipated new single "Applause" started leaking (as did the demo for "Aura"/"Burqa"). 10 seconds here, 15 there, etc. Last night was literally one of the most stressful nights of my life. I was up till 3 AM waiting to see if the whole thing would leak (it didn't. I cried.). BUT, Gaga got the best of the leakers and declared a 9-1-1 Pop Emergency and its being released today! It will be available on iTunes tonight along with the pre-order for the app! Now lets get into the music shall we?

"Applause" is a heaven sent gift, especially after being let down by "Brave" "Roar" (SORRY BUT I KNOW SHE CAN DO BETTER OKAY?). But first, as Gaga instructed, put a pair of headphones on to listen. Now get ready to be transcended. "Applause" plays like a fun 80's/90's track. The vocals range from a bouncy throat to killer shouts. Lyrically, a little goofy and artsy (ARTPOP DUH). "Applause" even contains SPELLING which automatically makes it perfect.

So at 11 tonight, you need to: put your hands up, make them touch, and then right after, make sure you pick up "Applause" and send the queen back to number. ARTPOP is here, y'all.

In case you forgot, Ellie Goulding is re-releasing her latest album Halcyon! Queen Goulding is calling it Halcyon Days and it has 10 new tracks on it (though I only count 9 in the preview). A little bit ago, Bonnie McKee released a video for "American Girl" with a bunch of her celeb friends and the song quickly became the new summer anthem (fact). Now she has released a real music video for it and I cannot stop laughing. From shop lifting, to car washes, to roasting marshmellows in a unique way, this video has everything. Its fun, sassy, and cheeky. This is basically what I wish my life looked like tbh. I love this song so much more.

In case you've been under a rock, Selena Gomez has been blazing up the charts with "Come and Get It" and is about to release her new album Stars Dance tomorrow! A few days ago, the video for her next single "Slow Down" leaked and its amazing! Selegendary takes on Paris sitting in the backseat of a car and partying it up in a club. Theres even a dance break down!! And can we talk about how fierce she looks doing all this? Loving this new grown up, newly 21 (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!) Selena.



And if that wasn't enough, a video for "Birthday" was released! Its more of a candid home video from her birthday party. The video and song give me such Spring Breakers vibes. Demi Lovato has released the video for her current single off Demi, "Made in the USA". The video is actually really cute! Marina and The Diamonds has premiered the video for "Lies"! In case you didn't know, this is my favorite song off one of, if not my, favorite albums Electra Heart. The video is pretty simple. Various shots of Marina in black and white, in a bedroom overlooking a city, or sitting in the rain at a dinner. I'm going to be so sad when this era is over.

New Video: Britney Spears' "Ooh La La"!

In case you missed this, Britney released the video for "Ooh La La" from the Smurfs 2 soundtrack. Can we just talk about the top five reasons why this video is the best?

WHY OOH LA LA IS BETTER THAN MOST VIDEOS NOW:

1. The surprised faces she makes at the beginning, after being zapped into the movie, are the best.
2. Her boys are in this and their acting is superb (even though they're both clearly so over it)
3. The blue electric magic seizure.
4. Godney didn't smash the Katy Perry smurf even though she could have.
5. Even though it's a song from a children's movie, Britney still finds time to dip it low.

In other words, this video is gold, and the song is just plain perfect.

Lady Gaga (FINALLY) Delivers the Deetz on ARTPOP. World Still Not Prepared.

If you haven't heard yet, ARTPOP is coming. Not as soon as I'd had hoped, but IT HAS AN ACTUAL RELEASE DATE AND TIME LINE.

At a ridiculous hour in the morning, The Queen, had released this promo image for ARTPOP. The photo is very simplistic, futuristic, and pretty tame (luckily she is not a bike and that terrible font is gone...). She basically has a face mask on to guard her from all the blood of the careers she is about to slay. YAS GURL YAS.

We're also getting a new single in a little over a month (August 19th), album/app preorder on September 1st, and the actual album/app on November 11th. Basically I'm claiming all of those as religious holidays and celebrating accordingly (i.e. shaking and crying and nothing else). Do y'all remember Aly and AJ Michalka? Of the "Chemicals React" and "Rush" Disney music fame? Well they're back as 78Violet with a more mature look and sound. It's been four long years since their last album and they're coming back with their single "Hothouse". "Hothouse" is a dreamy folk-indie-pop hybrid that isn't the normal Top 40 EDM buffoonery, but its gorgeous and super catchy. I mean how can you not love that haunting chorus: "You're a hothouse flower/something I cannot handle." The video (read: mini movie) is stunning as well. Loving this and cannot wait to hear more!

In case you missed it, Ellie Goulding is re-releasing her flawless album Halcyon. Why? WHO CARES I LOVE NEW ELLIE TRACKS. The lead single from the re-release is called "Burn" and she just debuted the video for it. It's basically Ellie dancing (even though she always says she can't) on a airport field until a bunch of people show up and they put lights everywhere. Weird, I know. But this song tho. Still great.

Like there are more boobies than a Game of Thrones episode.  Anyway, the video is literally a bunch of naked girls dancing, JT dancing, and Timbaland's face against various modern-esque backgrounds. It's simple and I guess artistic??? I do still like this song. That chorus is so catchy, but the 7 minute song is a bit much. Give me a radio edit and I'm good.

Okay, so like I've become ridiculously obsessed with Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop". At first I was not about that life, but let me tell you, it's a jam. And this live performance is not helping my addiction. I mean it opens with Miley "So Turnt Up" Cyrus gyrating on a Zayn Malik look-a-like and then romps around the stage.




Queen Cyrus then took the stage with the ever horrid will.I.am. The song isn't great, but it's not awful. Of course the only good moments of the song are the Miley parts, but I digress. LOOK AT THOSE SULTRY DANCE MOVES. In both performances, her vocals were SPOT. ON.

And then heres the interview with Jimmy. They basically dissect the obviously spiritually and culturally deep "We Can't Stop" video. Oh and admits that she is high all the time like her new bff Snoop Lion. Leslie must be jealous.

New Video: Paramore's "Anklebiters"!

First appearing on the Paramore website, the video for "Anklebiters" was uploaded to Youtube today. The video is basically a whole big animation which has these little black creatures chasing colorful animals/creatures. I really don't know what the hell is going on besides it giving me a headache. Eh.

Natalia Kills had premiered the video for her single "Problem"! AND IT IS A DOOZY. The clip shows us a very scantily clad and sexy Natalia strutting herself and seducing a dude. She also like sexes up a cop car. I cannot. This video is so perfect. I need that "Goddamn Problem" t-shirt ASAP!! Love.

Miley was apparently way too turnt up for us to see her new video because here it is! The video is VERY interesting to say the least. Gone are the bird wings and in are the full body bathing suits. There is just so much happening in this video. French fry skull smashing, pink blood, dancing with huge ass teddy bears, pool parties, and of course, twerking. This song has seriously grown on me and the video is ridiculous, in a good way.

It's here! Britney Spears has debuted the official version of "Ooh La La"! The track serves as one of the tracks on the new Smurfs 2 soundtrack. To be honest, it doesn't sound too different from the leaked demo, just a little shorter. STILL AMAZING. She premiered it on Ryan Seacrest and dished about album 8 (WHICH IS COMING AT THE END OF THE YEAR. PLAN ACCORDINGLY.) and her move to Vegas.

New Music: Fifth Harmony's debut: "Miss Movin' On"!

X-Factor artists, Fifth Harmony, have released their debut single! After coming in third, the girls were signed by Simon and L.A. Reid on Epic Records. The single is called "Miss Movin' On" and I am obsessed. I didn't watch the show, but everyone made a big hullabaloo about them, so I decided to take a listen. You will not be disappointed. Give it a listen and you'll understand!

New Music/Video: Jessie Malakouti's "White Girl Wasted"!

After almost a year after first hearing this live, my girl Jessie has FINALLY released "White Girl Wasted"!!!! The song is probably one of my favorites right now. I basically saw it as a sign to buy lmy new eopard print Vans. "WGW" is a fierce and gritty dance pop track that boasts a catchy as hell chorus "X's on my hands, wristband bracelets. Dancin' in my Vans, gettin' WHITE GIRL WASTED!" LYRICAL PERFECTION. So glad this is finally here. You can listen to it on Spotify, but I'm still holding out for an mp3 version soon.

Okay, like you guys know I've had a big change of heart about Miss Taylor Swift. And today is no exception. Taylor released the video for her next single "Everything Has Changed". As on of my favorites from the album, this video was absolutely adorable. It was literally like a moving Taylor Swift greeting card. Two kids basically love each other. Like stop. I love this.

I know I'm a little late to the party (I HAVE JOBS YA KNOW), but this morning Miley Cyrus premiered her new single "We Can't Stop". Gone are the days of "Can't Be Tamed" and in are the more adult party lyrics. Theres like references to Mollys and coke and its amazing. I love this Miley. The return of Jessie J (fan or not) is upon us. She has released her single "Wild" which features Big Sean and Drizzee Rascal (who?). The song itself isn't BAD, persay. I just feel, it was almost borderline (Feat. Jessie J), which is such a Mariah move. The rappers are eh, but the beat is infectious and the chorus could go a little harder, but it'll do. The video was mainly her walking/dancing around half naked. Meh.

Kelly Clarkson has released a video for her latest (and last off her greatest hits album) single, "People Like Us"! The song is definitely super catchy and a total jam, but the video..not her best. The video shows Clarkson as a scientist helping a child. It reminded me of that new movie coming out, The Host. And the product placement...ehh. What is Nokia???

UK girl group, The Saturdays, released the video for their new single "Gentleman"! The video is very Desperate Housewives. The girls are outside doing chores in giant gowns trying to find men (aka themselves). It was a cute idea with not much steam behind it. It kind of died after a while. Swedish 2012 Eurovision winner, Loreen, has released the video for her new single "We Got The Power". This track is pretty major. It's just so invigorating and uplifting. Charli XCX has released a video for her song "Take My Hand". And of course, after my Charli filled week, I'm ready for this. The video takes place in a "cool and urban" (reference) party. The video was produced by Urban Oufitters. SO HIPSTER. This song is seriously growing on me and slowly becoming one of my favorite. It was so nice to get to see her perform two shows and MEET HER!

It was such an amazing moment, let me tell you. She was so sweet. I saw her perform with Marina on Monday and then she did a small show + meet and greet at a record store. She was so cute and sweet. There may have even been a Backstreet Boy cover involved...s

Kelly Rowland has released a new single from her upcoming album Talk A Good Game due out June 18th. It's called "Dirty Laundry" and boy, does she come clean. Ms. Rowland talks about being in Beyonce's shadow and being in an abusive relationship. This is probably one of, if not the most emotional track from Kelly. It's a nice surprise though, despite the subject matter. I'm pretty sure you're not in B's shadow anymore, Kell. Shine on.

As you know Mariah has a new song with Miguel (even though it seems the other way around) called "#Beautiful". Basically Miguel sits in a car and tells her how beautiful she is, or Mariah poses on a bike, or the duo drive said bike, or Mariah flashes you her skin toned panties (or vagina) because she is wearing a dress that is way too short and throwing it around.

Hot off the release of his EP Far From Over, Frankmusik has released a song called "Chasing Shadows". The video itself is gorgeous. The cinematics are beautiful. The song is chilling to say the least. You really feel all the emotion in this one. Frankmusik always brings something new to the table and thank god because most of this Top 40 stuff is getting old. Avril Lavigne has released the video for her latest single "Here's To Never Growing Up"! First off, can we talk about how obsessed I am with this song? Second, I DID NOT KNOW THERE WAS AN UNEDITED VERSION OF THIS SONG! And third, the video basically has Avril as the performers at a prom-like dance. And no, its not the bottle of whatever is getting you drunk, Avril did make a reference to her earlier works and I love it (I'm a sucker for symbolism). Great job, Ms. Lavigne.

Well, well, well. We just got a brand new JLO track just in time for summer! Jenny's first single from her upcoming summer album is titled "Live It Up" and features Pitbull. Not gonna lie, it sounds like a bunch of tracks she already has out (Dance Again, On the Floor, etc.) but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. This is obvious a summer dance jam, with all the YOLO's and dale's galore. Expect to be hearing this one a ton.

Imagine Dragons have released the video for their current single "Demons". The video basically shows a bunch of demons people face and then has a very emotional ending. Having heard Dan talk about and get emotional on stage about Tyler really makes this touching. I'm almost in tears. This did my favorite song justice.

An amazing day, May 1st is. Just when you thought the sun was just beginning to shine, Marina and Charli release a duet entitled "Just Desserts". Selena Gomez's new track has finally hit the interwebz! The track, titled "Come And Get It" will be the first single off her upcoming fourth album due out sometime this summer. The track is a Bollywood sounding pop track. I am LOVING this. The Bollywood-ness is amazing and the chorus is super catchy. I'm a sucker for "na na na"'s. If this and "Rule The World" are any indications of her upcoming album, I am STOKED for this one. "Come and Get It" will be on iTunes Monday!

So like last year or early this year sometime I believe, I was introduced to an amazing pop starlet named Florrie. She has various EPs, her latest being Late. Let me tell you, its fantastic. Go preview it on iTunes or something. Florrie has just released a little teaser single to tide us over until her album comes! Its called "Live A Little" and its going to be used in Sony's new in-ear headphones campaign. Its a great pop/rock track with some crazy horns and drums. I really like it! Good for her. Charli XCX is currently getting ready to release her album entitled True Romance on April 16th! You may know her from Icona Pop's amazing hit "I Love It" which is blowing up airwaves. New Music/Video: Chris Brown's "Fine China"!

Chris Brown is back with his new single "Fine China". The single will be the lead single from his upcoming album X. I have to say, I'm not hating this at all. The video was super corny, but the dancing was superb. Of course we're all going to say the dancing is reminiscent of MJ. I know he still has the negative label, but I think this song is way better than what I heard on his Fortune album.

Paramore Album Sampler!

With only a few weeks until the release of Paramore's fourth album, the snippets have hit the internet. The self titled "Paramore", is quite interesting. I can't say I love it, but I don't love it. It reminds me of Brand New Eyes and a pinch of Riot!. Theres just so many sounds happening on this album ...I'll save my real judgement once the whole album comes out though.
